The initial purpose of this
set of pages was: to gather as many Internet links as could be
found relating to St. Vincent and The Grenadines, my winter
residence country. It can seem somewhat like a great mish-mash but
each link has its own character. Try those you find interesting.

The book "The Picture Postcards of St. Vincent and the Grenadines" by Chin Aleong was a delight to review. It brings a special perspective to understanding the character of St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the first half of the 20th century. The cards are from the period 1902 to about 1962 and descriptive and historical notes accompany many of them thus providing a unique pictorial and historical record of SVG. The book should appeal not only to collectors of picture postcards but also to anyone interested in anyway whatsoever in any aspect of SVG - Vincentians at home and abroad and especially the younger ones who may like to get a glimpse of what SVG looked like - and also, of course, to visitors to the rainbow isle of St. Vincent.
